Why I Support Texas Children’s Hospital…
Meet Stephanie Rene Evans,
I’ve been her Dad since she was three years old. At somewhere around age five we discovered Stephanie had an enlarged liver and spleen. There were many days and many tests, a lot of which were done by the Doctors at Texas Children’s Hospital. Stephanie was diagnosed with a Liver Enzyme deficiency know as Gaucher’s disease.
Fast forward to today, through the grace of God Stephanie is a beautiful, healthy, happy, grown woman enjoying life. I will always remember the smart, caring and compassionate Doctors and Nurses of Texas Children’s Hospital that helped a young child and frightened parents so long ago.
